nyc wedding in central park + brooklyn: sarah + peter

“nothing posed … we just want the day documented,” they said. music to my ears. and in my personal and professional opinion, sarah and peter’s wedding day was perfect. we met-up at the metropolitan museum of art and spent an hour or so casually wandering around central park on perhaps the hottest day of the summer. their families and closest friends joined us for an intimate ceremony at the ladies pavilion and after that sarah and peter grabbed a hotdog before hopping in a checkered cab for a drive across the bridge and into brooklyn for lunch at sweetwater (complete with a marriage license signing and celebratory shots at the bar).

everyone went their separate ways for a bit (i snuck in a cat nap, myself), and reunited later (with attire changes) at tuffet for drinks, toasts, and some dancing under string lights. i felt so welcome and like i was hanging out with friends all day and night, and that level of comfort is when i feel i’m able to do my best work. i adore sarah and peter … i will never forget the way they look at and adore each other … and it was an absolute honor to be flown to nyc to document their day.
