Sara and Joshua flew me out to Columbus to shoot their autumn engagement session and after the evening was over I wanted to take them back to Wisconsin with me. If I could write a handbook for the ideal engagement session it would look a lot like the one we had — two people in love with obvious chemistry and a sense of personal style (Sara is in the fashion business), who are laid-back and super engaging and easy to get along with. The locations they picked were also perfect for this time of year and had a bit of personal history.
After the session ended they drove me around New Albany and gave me a little history lesson about the area (very interesting and beautiful). Then they took me to NorthStar Cafe for dinner and beer. It was awesome and I could have talked to them all night long.
Sara and Joshua, thanks for flying me out. I had a really great time with you and I hope we cross paths again before your wedding next August!

Shot exclusively with the 35 1.4L (surprise surprise ;))

They are such a BEAUTIFUL couple!!! I can tell you had fun with them! I’m liking the scratchy film effect on some of these photos. Very cool.
