During October and November I’ll be on the road possibly more than I’m at home. This is both exhausting and exciting … mainly exciting. Apart from the neat things I’m seeing and shooting … and the awesome people I’m spending time with … I’m so happy to be working my way to the bottom of my To Read list. It was a goal of mine this year to finish my To Read list and so far I’ve read 38 books this year, with 17 remaining on my list. Not sure I’ll make it to the bottom but I’m happy that I’ve found time to read at all during wedding season.

I’m in Columbus Ohio right now — about to go out to Tasi Cafe and The North Market before shooting an engagement session. On my flight here I devoured the book The Art of Possibility. It’s one of the best I’ve read in a while because both the content and the writing were great. I love a lyrical narrative voice and both authors are clearly artists. I’ve been reading a ton of non-fiction lately, which is peculiar for me. But I’m loving everything I’m coming across. I’ll update you all soon on the best business books I’ve been reading — some real great ones.

Will be back midweek.

Ciao.

Taken on my MacBook when I woke up this morning. Don’t hate.

PS — Have you seen my Halloween themed blog header? It’s in Flash so you can’t view it on most mobile devices. Troy illustrated the zombies and animated the flash and all that fancy stuff. Love it.  (refresh screen and watch from beginning if you missed it).
