I said it yesterday … Andrea and Cyrus are awesome. Their wedding was simple, laid-back, and infused with meaningful and personal elements. One of my favorite parts of the day was when their musicians sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” during the ceremony. Gorgeous.
I love that if you look closely at the photo below you’ll notice that Cyrus is also showing off his new ring.
Andrea and Cyrus were married in the gorgeous Assembly Room at the State Capitol with their reception following at the Madison Club. I love how chill these two are, how appreciated they make everyone feel, and how their wedding truly seemed to be a reflection of who they are as people.
The day went seamlessly … they had just a couple family portraits, a few relaxed wedding party photos, and then they left the perfect amount of time for portraits around downtown of just the two of them. They even made time for a few minutes of dusk shots later in the evening. It was a great wedding to shoot :)

ice skating couple? i remember because i remember thinking she has the most amazing curls..ever! and she still does! i love their portraits. especially the one of them standing over the vent and her dress flowing up! so beautiful!

Wow you are an amazing photographer! I didn’t even come close to crying that day but looking at your photos of my Beautiful cousin and her new hubby brought tears to my eyes. (love the Marilyn Monroe shot!)
As usual,these are absolutely amazing. I really love the one with the cake, gosh you shoot food well..;) and another thing, colors are perfect as always, my favorite one I think is the one with her dress kind of blowing up over the city vent, and him dancing, it’s so playful! Love them all. Nice work.
